Counter-Strike:Source

History

Verge Gaming entered into the competitive gaming scene with a Counter-strike: Source in February of 2005. The team made its first appearance at eBash LAN 2005 where it captured first place after coming back from the lower bracket. After several successful finishes at LAN tournaments in the Midwest, the team suffered a disappointing 25th~32nd finish at the 2005 CPL Summer event. At this point the team revamped its roster and became a national team with the addition of Jon "helix" Wilson (Oklahoma) and Zach "cannoN" Cannon (Florida).
