Trevor "Midway" Schmidt is the current Strategic Brand Director[1] and Vice President of Operations & Marketing at GotFrag.com. Schmidt is a well known figure in the competitive gaming community. Over the course of his career, Schmidt has been a player, team manager, writer, analyst, editor, radio and tv personality, producer, Counter-Strike league administrator, and co-owner of a LAN center.
He is best known for his written coverage of professional Counter-Strike teams and leagues, as well as his commentary on current events in the competitive gaming industry. Lovingly referred to as "the chin" by his co-workers (and well known for his affinity to gray T-shirts and Polos), Schmidt's coverage has helped legitimize the professional gaming industry.

Overview
Schmidt is best known for his many written contributions to the eSports scene. He initially gained fame while working for the website Domain of Games. Schmidt was the first to dedicate full time to the feats of competitive Counter-Strike teams. Midway's Melee became his trademark and most popular recurring publication.

Overview
Schmidt has been seen or heard on numerous video, tv, and radio stations across the world. His first major broadcasting stint occurred with the Team Sportscast Network on the popular Counter-Strike show In the Crosshair. After the demise of the show, Schmidt moved on to work with Radio iTG, the Virtual Broadcasting Company, and currently GotFrag TV. Schmidt was also seen briefly on College Sports TV for coverage of WSVG, and has provided coverage for Major League Gaming, the parent company of GotFrag.
