History
2004
The team was founded in December 2004 by it’s general manager, Bas Peeperkorn. After he gained the team it’s first sponsor, Serious Gaming was able to acquire it’s first player, Niels "Zhrance" van Tilborg, at the same time. Niels played Painkiller and was talented to be one of the world’s top 16 players. With this start, Serious Gaming was able to perform at the Cyberathlete Professional League event in Dallas.
2005
Since the announcement of the CPL World Tour, Serious Gaming was able to sign new duelers to compete on this stage. Besides the experience Fredrik "aim" Edesater and Stefan "maddog" Timmermans, Markus "sadface" Andersen and Polish toptalent Maciek "av3k" Krzykowski gave their world to Serious Gaming.
This year was also the year Serious Gaming became a multigaming organisation. With the acquiring of the Finnish Counter-Strike team of Wings, Serious Gaming now compete at the most prestigious professional gaming event of that year the World Cyber Games hosted in Seoul, South Korea.
2006
Serious Gaming recruited the Check Six 'mixteam' that won ClanBase EuroCup XIII LAN Finals[1]. After some inactivity some players dropped out and the team decided to become a full Swedish team. The results weren't as good as thought and another lineup change determined for both parties it was better to let eachother go[2].
2007
Serious Gaming wanted to spread their horizon again and Call of Duty 2 gave them the right opportunity. The newly recruited Call of Duty 2 team was a mixture of some of the most talented players around in the Netherlands. Already proved themself on the highest stage of their scene, they easily continued their winning streak. With the start of all major Warcraft 3 competitions, a lot of teams split up and forms. This also included Serious. After losing some players, the team gained some remarkable talents like Nikolaus "SonKiE" Cassidy, Hjalmar "DoWaQ" Högborg[3] and Kevin "RotterdaM" van der Kooi[4] to mention some.

History
Formerly ranked as Europe's Number 1[5] team by GotFrag, this team joined Serious' ranks March 2007[6] as the Call of Duty 2 team. They had a legendary win streak playing Call of Duty 2 in 2007, in the year they won three major events in a row.
2008
The year of the transition from CoD2 to CoD4, the team couldn't perform the way they did before. After some poor results and several player changes, Niels 'zemme' van Steenbergen and Rick 'r1kz Smit decided to join up with ButtonBashers. With only two players left in the lineup the inactivity started.
2009
After six months of inactivity, things started to itch again. Bob 'supreme' Janssen and Siebe 'nutec' Huisman being a part of the 2008 lineup, decided to build a new solid team. Former LowLandLions-player Thomas 'Restyle' Billen and KomaCrew-talent Nick 'toxjee' Hol joined the ranks together with old Serious-member Kaj 'kajsk1ng' van Staalduinen leaving Counter-Strike: Source behind[7][8].

History
The Quake 4 team consists of two young duelers, with the Polish one known as being the biggest talent in First Person Shooter games. Since the CPL World Tour, Serious Gaming expanded their 'duel' division in order to compete with the best. Both active players joined up by then and showed age doesn't limit yourself in winning tournaments. Due the age restrictions, Maciek "av3k" Krzykowski couldn't fight the best and had to wait untill the World Series of Video Games removed the rule. He has won six of the ten international tournaments he entered, with a second, two fourth and one fifth place in the remaining four.
