Eco is a term used in Counter-Strike to indicate that a team or player is low on money and thus needs to buy very little if anything. An eco round can also be called a Save round.
Common Eco Round Strat's
Deagle Save: involves buying a Desert eagle and usually 2 clips of ammo. May also include Armor.
Nade Stack: Buying a HE grenade and stacking a location such as a bomb site or choke point(i.e nade stacking long A on de_dust2)
