What Is A Rush?
In nearly any competitive multiplayer game, a rush is a full-out assault by multiple members of a team targeted at specific area of the map. A rush is considered a powerful tactic, and can be delayed or enacted immediately, with the intent of the rush being to take an area as quickly and violently as possible.
When to Use a Rush
In Counter-Strike, rushes are common during save rounds, and are typically performed by the attacking team, though defensive rushes are not uncommon.
Where to Focus a Rush
A rush is typically focused on a strategically important target area, such as a Counter-Strike bombsite, or an enemy position/stronghold that is crucial to the control of the target area.
