History
Remco "Ghost" Eijgelsheim is a Battlefield 2 player. Ghost signed for Greek Operation Forces on June 19th, 2007. Prior to this, he represented Team-ff and inFlux-Gaming, playing 8v8 Conquest, as well as representing Exzorcist e-sports and Warlords in 5v5 infantry. Ghost was known as one of the best European tankers during his days playing in inFlux. Ghost originally quit BF2 to start a new career playing Enemy Territory: Quake Wars. ET:QW didnt live up to his expectations and he decided to return to playing BF2, it was then that an old friend from inFlux gaming, Baldrick, asked him to play for GROF. Ghost also represented The Netherlands in the Clanbase NationsCup 12vs12 team and the ESL Nations Championship 8vs8 team.
After playing for Greek Operation Forces, Ghost became teamcaptain of the highly succesfull european all-stars team Epsilon Esports aswell as leading the Netherlands' national conquest 8vs8 team. With Epsilon, Ghost won the prestigious UEESA championsleague 15vs15 cup taking the €15.000 first prize. in this cup ghost was also awarded most valuable tanker winning the €200 MVP award. in the following months Ghost and Epsilon won another 3 cups with a total prize fund of almost €5000. after this Ghost could no longer find the time or the motivation to lead a professional Battlefield 2 team and resigned as teamcaptain and fulltime Battlefield 2 player. In the following weeks Ghost played a couple of 8vs8 conquest matches as a mercenary but eventually quit BF2 completely. Ghost is currently inactive.
