Counter-Strike

History

Their last roster change was replacing the retiring Young Hwan "ryu" Ryu with Hyun Jin "Miffy" Son. Ryu had been the leader and heart of the Project_kr team and led them to their solid placings in WEG Season 3 and WEG Masters.

With the addition of Son from LaVega, project_kr (the team that would become e-STRO) attended CPL Winter 2006 and placed sixth. With a dearth of international competition in 2007, e-STRO only had the chance to attend ESWC 2007, Seoul eStars, and WCG 2007 in 2007. At ESWC they made an early exit after losing to NiP and Turmoil in group play; in Seoul eStars they finished fourth out of four teams; and at WCG they placed 5-8th after eliminating fnatic and MYM (albeit amid some controversy).

e-STRO opted out of attending CGS Pan-Asia with the Seoul Jinhwa franchise and chose to attend Extreme Masters LA. Their reasoning was not made public. They placed 5th in LA and qualified for the Extreme Masters Season 2 finals.

Starcraft

History

Formed in late 2002 as AMD Dream Team, eSTRO contained notable foreign progamers such as Giyom "Grrrr..." Patry, Bertrand "ElkY" Grospellier and Victor "Nazgul" Goossens.

After some moderate success in both individual and team leagues, AMD lost interest in the team and was eventually sold to Hexatron in late 2003. Hexatron picked up some talent during this time including Peter "Legionnaire" Neate, Brian "Assem" Fransciolli and Dong Jin "ArtOfTerran" Kim.

Although with a decent roster, Hexatron failed to impress in both individual and team leagues, and was sold off again to the e-Nature corporation in the end of 2004.

e-Nature during 2005 was a complete failure. Placing last in all team leagues they competed in, as well as its players failing to make it to the major star leagues, it took another change of sponsor, being bought by the IEG owned eSTRO.

With new stars such as Hee Sung "UpMagiC" Shin and Ki Su "Tester" Seo, they are doing their best to stay as a reputable name in the team and individual leagues.
