The team was assembled by manager Geir "Glum" Trones and captain Jonas "bsl" Alsaker Vikan, and was announced 13th of December 2004. The goal was to create a Norwegian e-sports phenomena which could compete with the best on the international scene.

History

The team goal, which the players and managment agreed on, was to aim for top five in every international tournament through the year, in addition to first place in every Norwegian tournament.

The team will, in 2006, improve their great results in 2005. The main focus will be trying to win a big international tournament. Catch-Gamer shall also be - without any doubt - the best team in Norway, and place top four in every internationl tournament.

After the mediocre result at Intel Summer Championship 2006, player Preben "oops" Josdal was not offered a new contract when all the players contracts expired September 1th.

A situation arised as a cause of this prosess, which lead to the team going inactive. The Norwegian team, whom had participated at allmost 20 tournamnets around the world through 18 months, was shut down. Catch-Gamer still lives on as a gaming-community, which was it's original starting-point.
